Detailed guides
Account and sign-in
- Create an account. Use the Register page. You need a valid email address, a unique display name, and a password of at least 8 characters.
- Forgot your password? Request a reset link on the Forgot password page. The link is valid for a limited time.
- Sign out. Use the user menu in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
Buying
- Search cards. Use the Browse page or search bar to find listings by player, set, or year.
- Payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
- Shipping. Each seller configures their own shipping options. FoxPost parcel points are available in supported countries; otherwise domestic or EU postal shipping is available.
- Order status. Track your orders on the My Orders page. You receive emails when an order is placed and shipped.
- Confirm delivery. When your package arrives, confirm delivery in the order so the seller can receive the payout. If there is a problem, message the seller or open a support ticket.
How CardBase protects transactions
For buyers
- Payments are handled through Stripe Checkout.
- Seller payout is held during the buyer protection period.
- If there is a problem, you can message the seller or open a support ticket.
For sellers
- Stripe Connect handles payouts to your bank account.
- Shipping fees are shown to buyers before checkout.
- The payout is released after delivery confirmation or after the review period closes.

Fees and payouts
CardBase charges a 6% commission on successful marketplace sales. Seller payouts are handled by Stripe Connect after buyer protection checks finish.
Shipping
Sellers set domestic and EU shipping fees before publishing. Buyers see available shipping options and costs before checkout.
Disputes and refunds
If an order is missing, damaged, or not as described, contact the seller first and open a support ticket if needed. CardBase can mediate and initiate refunds where justified.

Selling
- Start selling. Open Seller onboarding. Stripe Connect onboarding and at least one shipping fee are required before publishing your first listing.
- Create a listing. Use the Sell page. Add clear photos and accurate details: title, player, set, year, card number, condition, and price.
- Ship an order. When a buyer pays, mark the order as shipped from your dashboard once the package is on its way.
- Payouts. Payouts are released through Stripe Connect after the buyer confirms delivery or the review period closes automatically.
Collection
- The Collection area is for cards you own but are not selling. Upload them with full metadata from Collection / Upload.
- Share a public link to selected items or your full collection from Collection / Manage. Sharing links can be regenerated or disabled at any time.
- Other users can send non-binding interest offers for cards in your collection. Accepting an offer does not complete a sale — you must create a separate marketplace listing if you want to sell.
